St. Anthony has named Scott de la Garza, M.D., board certified orthopedic surgeon, as the recipient of the 2016 St. Luke Award. This award is given each year by St. Anthony Hospital Administrative Council to the physician who most exemplifies the life of St. Luke, The Patron Saint of Physicians and Surgeons. Specifically, administration recognizes Dr. de la Garza for his commitment to the mission and values of St. Anthony Hospital.
Dr. de la Garza has served on the St. Anthony and Bone and Joint Hospital at St. Anthony medical staff for 10 years, and is the Musculoskeletal Surgery Department Chair for St. Anthony.
