Gavin Enck, Ph.D., the director of clinical ethics at INTEGRIS, was recently appointed by Governor Mary Fallin to be a member of the Oklahoma Health Research Committee, an advisory committee to the board of the Oklahoma Center for the Advancement of Science and Technology.
The Oklahoma Health Research Committee is comprised of eight health research scientists and a member of either the clergy or an individual with an advanced degree in philosophy, like Dr. Enck.
The purposes of this committee are to make recommendations on program policies and procedures and to assist in peer-review of funding and awards applications for the Oklahoma Health Research program. Dr. Enck’s appointment on the committee runs until November 2021.
