Position Summary:
OBU is seeking a qualified Pediatric Nursing faculty member to join our prestigious team and inspire future nurses. OBU’s School of Nursing provides a baccalaureate program where nursing is viewed as both a Christian ministry and a professional practice. The right candidate will teach students to provide quality nursing care through competent and professional practice while equipping them with the skill set and knowledge to take the national examination for licensure as a registered nurse. In addition to classroom and clinical teaching, nursing faculty provide student advising and serve on OBU committees while engaging in scholarly activities and continuous professional development opportunities. The chosen candidate will serve alongside their department peers to ensure an excellent educational experience coupled with continuously updated curriculum, access to state-of-the-art simulation experiences, and multiple clinical site rotations for hands-on student learning.

Qualifications:
 Master of Science in Nursing and current nursing license in Oklahoma.
 Minimum of two years of nursing experience.
 Proficiency in the use of computer software and hardware.
 Proficiency in the use of classroom audio/visual equipment.
 Sufficient mobility and physical stamina to walk about the campus to visit various offices; to travel to local, regional, and national locations; and transport moderately heavy items to offices and classrooms.
 Commitment to the vision and mission of Oklahoma Baptist University.
 Must be an active member of a local evangelical Christian church.
 Preferred teaching experience.
 Preferred DNP or PhD in Nursing and current nursing license in Oklahoma.
