Michael Johnson, M.D., was recently named Chief Medical Officer of The Children’s Center Rehabilitation Hospital.
Dr. Johnson is board certified in pediatrics and pediatric hospital medicine. He earned an undergraduate degree in microbiology from the University of Oklahoma, a Master of Business Administration from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst, and a medical degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine. Following the completion of his medical degree, he completed a pediatric residency at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center in Ohio.
Dr. Johnson began working at The Children’s Center Rehabilitation Hospital as a hospitalist in 2013. In 2015 he joined the team full-time as medical director of inpatient services, and in 2016 was named vice president of medical services, in addition to his director of inpatient services role.
