The University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center (OU HSC) is one of the nation’s few academic health centers with all health-related colleges – Allied Health, Dentistry, Medicine, Nursing, Pharmacy, Public Health, and the Graduate College. OU HSC serves approximately 4,000 students in more than 70 undergraduate and graduate degree programs on campuses in Oklahoma City and Tulsa.<\/p>\n

The University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in Oklahoma City has an opening for a full-time Clinical Research Nurse.<\/p>\n

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join a collaborative team focused on pediatric health and disease research. The candidate will be part of a department-level clinical research team that works with a variety of pediatric subspecialists to facilitate all aspects of clinical trial studies. This includes study initiation, patient enrollment, sample\/data collection and entry, compliance, and safety.<\/p>\n

Requirements:<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Bachelors degree in nursing & 12 months\u2019 professional nursing experience. Associates degree in nursing & 24 months\u2019 professional nursing experience. State of Oklahoma registered nurse certification, BLS, and CPR certification<\/p>\n

Skills:<\/h3>\n

Team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills; Ability to exert independent judgement on tasks; knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software programs; detail-oriented, highly organized and meticulous to ensure accuracy of data collection and recording; willingness to learn new techniques and analyses; and initiative to solve problems.<\/p>\n
