Responsibilities include:<\/strong><\/p>\n

  • Maintains appropriate nursing service objectives, goals, and standards of nursing practices consistent with licensure requirements and the Nurse Practice Act.<\/li>\n
  • Evaluates staffing pattern needed to meet the needs of the residents in conjunction with the Director of Nursing.<\/li>\n
  • Administers medication\/treatments as prescribed.<\/li>\n
  • Receive, transcribe, and implement physician\u2019s orders.<\/li>\n
  • Implements and evaluates care plans.<\/li>\n
  • Identifies\/secures equipment supplies<\/li>\n
  • Directs\/oversees subordinates.<\/li>\n
  • Participates in duty assignments.<\/li>\n
  • Organizes\/coordinates subordinates, job tasks, and time allotments.<\/li>\n
  • Oversees\/monitors function and activities of subordinate staff.<\/li>\n
  • Evaluate staff performance and institutes appropriate action discipline\/training.<\/li>\n
  • Monitor\u2019s infection control compliance.<\/li>\n
  • Investigates\/documents accidents\/incidents.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    LPN Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n

      \n
    • Current, unrestricted LPN license in the state of practice<\/li>\n
    • Previous skilled nursing experience<\/li>\n
    • Solid understanding of clinical operations and regulatory compliance<\/li>\n
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n
