With INTEGRIS Health, you will have a genuine chance to make a difference in your life and your career.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"box-sizing: border-box;margin: 0px 0px 20px;\">INTEGRIS Health is the state&#8217;s largest Oklahoma-owned health system with hospitals, rehabilitation centers, physician clinics, mental health facilities and home health agencies throughout much of the state.<\/p>\n<p><\/span>\n<\/div>\n<p>The Medical Assistant responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Gathers and documents information about patient condition, which include lab values, pain levels, patient education needs, nutritional status and potential complications<\/li>\n<li>Contributes to the assessment\/re-assessment of patients<\/li>\n<li>Monitors and documents patient status<\/li>\n<li>Participates in the development of the plan of care, including implementation and evaluation of appropriate patient care interventions which may include medication administration (exclusive of narcotics)<\/li>\n<li>Manages large call volume while maintaining excellent telephone etiquette<\/li>\n<li>Organizes workflow to meet patient needs in a timely manner * As needed by patient contact level, adheres to National Governing Board and Patient Safety Goals<\/li>\n<li>May retrieve and transport medications<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Reports to assigned director, manager, supervisor or lead.<\/p>\n<p>This position may have additional or varied physical demand and\/or respiratory fit test requirements. Moderate exposure to hazardous risks, including potential for exposure to infections and communicable diseases, blood and body fluids, electrical equipment, chemicals.
